The project is developing new procedures to integrate the air vehicles and operations of tomorrow into the European airspace: ✅️ High altitude platform systems (HAPS) ✅️ Vertical launchers ✅️ Suborbital vehicles The project also serves as an opportunity to see how these procedures work with real air traffic controllers in a safe and controlled environment. According to the ECHOES project, the future of #ATM is in space. 📡🛰️✈️ 🏆The project recently made history when it enabled a pilot to hold a real-time conversation with an air traffic controller via VHF signals transmitted from satellites in space.
