A great start to the International Council for Advertising Self-Regulation (ICAS) meeting in Mumbai this morning and a wonderful welcome from The Advertising Standards Council of India! I’m here on behalf of both VoxComm and the European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA) at a conference comprising the advertising self-regulation bodies from 17 countries worldwide. It is so important for the agency sector to enhance our reputation with policy makers and business leaders and I believe that collaborating with the SROs to build consumer trust in advertising is vital. Of course utilising AI for monitoring and pre clearance is already proving to be huge discussion point. Just listened to Stephane Martin, ARPP - Autorité de Régulation Professionnelle de la Publicité describing the AI platform they’re using in France. 👏🏼👏🏼 EASA; Sibylle Stanciu-Loeckx; Manisha Kapoor; Kerrie-Lee Magill #advertisngandmarmeting #advertisingagencies #selfregulation #responsibleadvertising
