This week TELUS Digital had the pleasure of hosting a discussion in partnership with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, focusing on Canadian investment and business opportunities in Bulgaria. We were honoured to welcome H.E. Gavin Buchan, Ambassador of Canada to Romania, Bulgaria, and the Republic of Moldova, as our special guest, alongside business leaders, institutional representatives, and partners from both countries. Key highlights included: - A keynote by H. E. Gavin Buchan emphasizing the shared values and growing economic ties between Canada and Bulgaria. - Insightful opening remarks from Mr. Alex Nestor, President of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, on fostering trade and investment. - Updates from Mila Nenova, Executive Director of Invest Bulgaria Agency on Bulgaria’s investment landscape and future priorities. - Presentations from Michel Belec, Chief Legal Officer of TELUS Digital and Kristina Georgieva, Vice President of Operations for Bulgaria, France, Ireland, and Turkiye on our operations across four continents and the opportunities of doing business in Bulgaria. - An inspiring talk by Mr. Yann Bidan of Maple Bear Central & Eastern Europe, showcasing how Canadian educational excellence is thriving locally. Проектът „Тийн Тиймс“ на Сдружение за споделено учене Ела, финансиран от Обществен борд на TELUS Digital в България, доказва как социалните инициативи допринасят за изграждането на по-позитивна и подкрепяща училищна среда, където всеки ученик се чувства ценен и приет! Чрез специално структурирани тиймбилдинги и дейности на открито, десетки младежи повишиха мотивацията си за учене и за участие в училищни дейности. Развиха умения за работа в екип, комуникация и разрешаване на конфликти, а резултатите говорят сами за себе си: 🌱 Ученици от СУ „Христо Ботев“, Горна Малина, не само че разчистиха и създадоха „топли лехи“ в Кооперативната градина в с.Негушево, но и промениха общността около себе си! 🎨 Ученици от ПГТ „Н. Й. Вапцаров“, Сливница, създадоха уникални керамични плочки, които станаха част от арт инсталация в представителна изложба – наистина вдъхновяващо! 🌳 Ученици от СУ „Отец Паисий“, Самоков се обединиха и работиха активно заедно, доказвайки как съвместната работа може да създаде не само красота, но и сила в общността.
