The report provides an overview of artificial intelligence (AI), especially deep learning and deep reinforcement learning-related methods, applied in the resilience enhancement of power and energy systems. The focused topics in this report are divided into extreme events and system operation issues. The considered extreme events include wildfire (2.1), storms and hurricanes (2.2), summer drought (2.3), and cyber-attacks (2.4). The detailed operation issues include control and frequency (3.1), energy management (3.2), network reconfiguration (3.3), and industrial practice (3.4). Each topic covers fundamental questions: 1) Why AI 2) How to apply AI, 3) what the one-hand resources are, and 4) concerns and suggestions.
