So, if fiddle was not built on your FreeBSD, the failure of test_extlibs.rb detected a problem correctly :) 2) I always configure with `--with-opt-dir=/usr/pkg` on my NetBSD box. `/usr/pkg` is the base directory of pkgsrc, NetBSD's standard package system just like FreeBSD's Ports Collection. In general, user have to specify such directory by hand when configure, but IMO if we can determine such directory as predefined by system, configure should use it automatically. > Is fiddle that important?
