😅 You know what kills most Node.js interviews? It’s not the code challenge. It’s the fundamentals. Everyone says: “I know Node.” But when the interviewer asks 👇 ❓ What’s the difference between the event loop phases (timers, I/O, check, close)? ❓ How is process.nextTick() different from Promise.resolve().then()? ❓ How do you handle backpressure in streams? ❓ What are the real security pitfalls when exposing an API? Silence. Confusion. Panic. Here’s the truth: Interviewers don’t care if you built a CRUD API with Express. They care if you understand why Node scales and how it actually runs under the hood. 👉 Instead of just memorizing middleware, learn the event loop, async patterns, clustering, and security best practices. Because if you can reason about concurrency and performance, you can solve real-world scaling problems. 🚀 Node.js jobs don’t go to script writers. They go to engineers who understand the runtime.

I really love the new sorting methods for arrays 👇 Every time I reached for .sort(), .reverse(), or .splice(), I worried about one thing: mutation. Those methods modify the original array, which is a subtle bug factory in stateful apps like React. Now, thanks to ES2023, we have non-mutating versions: 🟢 .toSorted() → returns a sorted copy 🔵 .toReversed() → returns a reversed copy 🟣 .toSpliced() → returns a modified copy without touching the original For React, this is huge. Immutability is what triggers re-renders and keeps state predictable. With these methods, you don’t need workarounds like structuredClone() to keep arrays safe. Background processing eventually becomes critical. That happens with scaling applications. Worker Services in .NET are designed for this. For long-running and cross-platform workloads. They support tasks like queuing jobs, running scheduled operations, or monitoring resources. Worker Services are built on the Generic Host, providing: 1. Dependency Injection (DI) – manage services cleanly. 2. Configuration – centralize and control settings. 3. Logging – track behavior and diagnose issues. Key concept you should know: 1. BackgroundService: an abstract base for defining recurring background tasks. 2. IHostedService: manages the service lifecycle with StartAsync and StopAsync. 3. IHostApplicationLifetime: facilitates graceful startup and shutdown. 4. Worker Service template (dotnet new worker): jumpstarts your development. Why use Worker Services? ⇢ Separation of concerns - Keep background jobs independent from your APIs or UI. ⇢ Flexible deployment - Run as Windows Services, inside Docker containers, or on Azure. ⇢ Extensibility - Support multiple scheduling patterns: ↳ Continuous loops for constant processing ↳ Timer-based intervals for periodic execution ↳ Cron-style schedules for complex timing needs 💡 For one-off, short-lived jobs, you don’t always need a full Worker class. When using contentChildren in #Angular to access projected elements, by default, it only finds direct children, no descendants 🛑 If you use contentChildren to query a list of projected children, the component will only find them if they are projected as direct children. If you add a container of another nested structure in your projection content, contentChildren will not find the elements you are looking for 🤔 But there is a configuration for this, on contentChildren, you can add a descendants configuration, when you set this to true it will find the elements, but be carefull, because it will look all the way down the DOM tree, so you need to filter or scope correctly when using descendants true ✅
