Technical SEO Tip: The New York Times has the most incredible HTML sitemap I've seen. Within 5 clicks, crawlers can access ANY article ever written: Many SEOS might not notice, but the New York Times has an increible sitemap implementation. Since crawlers are tasked with accessing they're enourmous content library, NYT has needed to implement a dynamic system to ensure that any article they're written is discoverable. At the bottom of their site you can find the "Sitemap" link. The hiearchy is structured like this: Level 1: Sitemap link on homepage Level 2: A list of all the years they're written content for. This dates back all the way to 1851.  Level 3: The month level. You select the month the article was written.  Level 4: Day-level. All the days within that month.  Level 5: All the articles written on that day. This is brilliant because it ensure that no matter what they do with they're site structure, internal linking, hiearchy etc, search engines ALWAYS have a path to discovery the content. No matter when the article was written, it's no more then 5 clicks away from the home page. This still remains one of the best technical SEO implementations I've seen to date.

The difference between SEO Pre and Post AI Era is: Before 2023: Users would search 5-10 queries and multiple page visits to make a transaction or intent satisfaction. After 2023: Users search 1-2 Queries and some prompts, but in the backend, these engines search 5-10 fanouts on their index or Google, helping users find the correct information. The quantum of searches has not changed; it's just that the information retrieval process is no longer limited to one index but rather multi-index. However, information consumption has changed and evolved as users and AI both search. As seen in the GEO Process, SEO has become increasingly essential and diversified, becoming omnipresent across the Search/GenAI Ecosystem, which makes SEO/GEO/AEO whatever the hell it is more Important. Local SEO Tip: don’t use hashtags on your Google Business Profile. Don’t use them in Posts, review responses, descriptions, or anywhere else on the Profile. You can’t click on them to get to a discover feed like you can on social media platforms, and they don’t have any impact on rankings. Google just doesn’t care about them. Save the hashtags for social media. On your GBP, they just make you look stupid and take up space. #localseo #seo
