Yesterday, we had the privilege of attending the Star Women in Grocery Awards, an inspiring event that shines a spotlight on the remarkable women driving progress and innovation across the grocery industry. A highlight of the morning was Michael Medline, President & CEO of Empire Company Limited, present the prestigious Star Women Icon Award to Diane J. Brisebois, outgoing President & CEO of the Retail Council of Canada,. Her work and leadership over the years has impacted retail in Canada for the better. We also heard from keynote speaker Cara Keating, CEO of PepsiCo Canada, who shared powerful insights on leadership, resilience, and the importance of championing women in the workplace.
