Today is World Mental Health Day -- a reminder that how we feel matters, especially at work. Taking care of our mental well-being is not only good for us, but it also helps us show up more fully for our families, our teammates, and the people we work with every day. And it’s not always about doing less. Sometimes it’s about creating space to breathe, to check in with ourselves, and to say, “I need a minute” -- and knowing that’s completely okay! We’re proud to support open conversations about mental health, and we’re encouraging everyone to join in. The World Health Organization is hosting important discussions, and it’s a great time to listen, learn, and remind ourselves that no one has to go through things alone. Our global Day of Giving 2025 🌎 Yesterday, colleagues across AY came together for our annual Day of Giving. From our UK offices to teams around the world, we rolled up our sleeves to support our local communities. In the UK alone, over 500 colleagues participated in activities for 47 charities including: ✨ Sorting clothes at a hospice charity shop ✨ Community Garden clearing, cleaning and replanting ✨ Discovering and protecting precious insects ✨ Painting and refurbishing charity premises Our Day of Giving reinforces what matters most to us. Supporting localorganisations that advance sustainability, equality, and health. Living our environmental and social values. Strengthening our powered by people culture. Every year, this day helps initiate real change in our communities through action and partnership. It's one of the highlights of ourcalendar, seeing our teams unite around a shared purpose to give back. Thank you to every colleague who participated 🙌 . 🌟🤝🌱 Gemeinsam etwas bewegen: 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 Auch dieses Jahr haben wir bei Avison Young unseren Day of Giving genutzt, um uns aktiv für unsere Gemeinschaft einzusetzen. Seit über 11 Jahren steht dieser besondere Tag im Zeichen von Nachhaltigkeit, Gleichberechtigung und Gesundheit. 💪 Es ist immer wieder inspirierend, zusammen die Ärmel hochzukrempeln und positive Veränderungen voranzutreiben – jenseits des Büroalltags. 📍 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻: Wie in den vergangenen Jahren waren wir wieder im Caritas-Seniorenzentrum St. Johannes aktiv. Unser Team machte den Garten winterfest – vom Rasen mähen über Laub harken bis hin zum Bepflanzen der Beete und dem Streichen der Holzbänke. 📍 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴: Dieses Jahr unterstützten wir die Alimaus, eine Hamburger Tagesstätte für Obdachlose und Bedürftige. Die Alimaus bietet Essen, medizinische Hilfe und soziale Beratung – getragen von Ehrenamtlichen und Spenden. Jeder ist willkommen. Unser Team half im Rahmen des Tagesablaufs bei der Essensausgabe, genoss einen gemeinsamen Lunch mit dem Team der Alimaus und packte beim Aufräumen mit an. 📍 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗳𝘂𝗿𝘁: Im Neuen Garten haben wir Bäume gepflanzt, das Gelände verschönert und kleinere Projekte umgesetzt – ein Tag, an dem wir Spuren hinterlassen. ✨ Ein herzliches Dankeschön an alle Kolleg:innen, die sich engagiert haben und diesen Tag jedes Jahr aufs Neue mit Leben füllen! #DayOfGiving2025 #AYDifference #ImpactMatters #CommunityFirst

Our colleagues gathered on beautiful Sandymount Beach to pick litter in the sunshine this morning. [Day of giving] Comme chaque année, les employés d'Avison Young dans le monde consacrent une journée à une action solidaire. Les équipes France ont accompagné l'Association MaMaMa qui a pour objectif de soutenir les mères seules et isolées en leur livrant des colis alimentaires et des produits d'hygiène de première nécessité obtenus grâce à des dons. Tout au long de la journée, les équipes Avison Young | France ont trié vêtements et produits d'hygiène puis ont constitué des cartons individualisés par famille. Au total plus de 1,5 tonne de dons ont été triés et seront redistribués par l'Association, soit l'équivalent de 3 semaines de travail réalisé en une seule journée 👏 Bravo à tous pour votre action !
