Calgary is taking another bold step forward in strengthening Canada’s defence and innovation capabilities. The Opportunity Calgary Investment Fund (OCIF) is investing up to $1 million in the Xpand Commercialization Hub by ConvergX — a $9 million initiative supported by Prairies Economic Development Canada I Développement économique Canada pour les Prairies and Boeing Canada Operations Limited to accelerate the commercialization of dual-use technologies for both civilian and defence applications.
