Well-being Week Health Fair Recap! I had the opportunity to speak with students about the power of fruits and vegetables at our Nutrition tabling activation, part of York University commitment to a healthier campus environment through its well-being strategy. Students explored: ✅ The benefits of eating more fruits & veggies ✅ Easy strategies to boost their intake ✅ Tips to reduce food waste and stretch their dollar ✅ Dining hall options that support healthy choices The fruit & veggie trivia was a hit, students tested their knowledge and walked away with smoothie samples that are available in our dining halls and awesome swag courtesy of Jennifer Ong Tone, MHSc, RD and Half Your Plate.
