At Discovery, responsible mining includes caring for the land long after operations move on. This year, Discovery Porcupine worked with Niiwin General Partnership Inc., a company established through our Resource Development Agreement with local Indigenous communities, to complete progressive reclamation at the Pamour Mine site in Timmins. Together, we reclaimed over 4 hectares of land through careful site preparation, grading, and seeding with native grasses and wildflowers. Through collaboration and shared respect for the environment, we are helping return these areas to healthy, self-sustaining landscapes.
