This week marks both the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (September 30) and Treaty Day in Nova Scotia (October 1). Over the past seven years, our partnership with 13 Mi'kmaw communities in Nova Scotia through the Mi’kmaw Home Energy Efficiency Project (MHEEP) has led to energy-efficient improvements in more than 1,400 band-owned homes. At Efficiency Nova Scotia, we are dedicated to continuous learning and meaningful partnerships with Indigenous communities.
