Founded in 1995 by six co-founders—Mark and Mo Constantine, Rowena Bird, Helen Ambrosen, Liz Bennett, and Paul Greeves—Lush began as a small cosmetics shop in Poole, Dorset, UK. Since then we have been pioneers in the beauty industry, committed to creating fresh, handmade products that are as kind to the planet as they are to your skin. We pride ourselves on using ethically sourced ingredients and developing cruelty-free, innovative products that challenge the status quo. The packaging fix: how to connect packaging innovation with climate action and operational efficiency?🌿⚙️ 🔹 Packaging sustainability, if played well, is a card that can help reaching company-wide business goals - being those climate and circularity targets/requirements, greater operational efficiency, or cost savings. 🔹But often the trade-offs in packaging innovation can come down to efficiency and commercial success vs sustainability impact. So, it’s not always as straight forward as it seems. I'm so excited to see how Amy and Brodie will address this question at the Sustainable Packaging Innovation Forum in Chicago.
