Autumn is here! Wishing everyone safe travels as we cool down from the hot summer. Although the seasons are changing, keeping your vehicle clear of debris is a year-round task. Today is World Car-Free Day! This initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of sustainable alternative means of travel in reducing noise pollution and lowering vehicle emissions, rather than relying solely on personal motor vehicles. Instead of driving, grab a bike, walk, join a carpool, or take a bus! Not only does minimizing vehicles on the road lower emissions, but it also mitigates traffic problems. #worldcarfreeday #PWT #STC #Safelyhome #citybus #charter #schoolbus #carpool #gogreen

Today’s Fun Fact Friday involves a reminder about school bus safety on the road. Across Canada, it is illegal to pass a bus on the road when its red lights are flashing. Did you know that there are some pretty hefty penalties depending on the province? For example, in Alberta, it can result in a fine of $567 with six demerits on your license, while in Ontario, for a first offense, fines can range from $400 to $ 2,000! Stay safe on the roads! #FunFactFriday #roadsafety #flashingredlights #schoolbus #PWT #STC
