Want to get more out of the latest AI tools? The key may be in improving your prompting skills. At our 2025 Volaris AI Summit, Ian Reay (AI Architect Lead) and Chris Laidler (Senior AI Engineer at Omegro) shared the C.R.A.F.T. framework for creating better AI prompts. A key takeaway: Don't expect perfection on the first try. Treat prompting as an ongoing conversation where you can iterate and refine to create a more detailed, instructive prompt. Whether you're an early adopter of AI or a complete novice, everyone can benefit from this primer: https://lnkd.in/gKESB_U6 #ForeverInvested #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #Prompting #PromptEngineering #TalentDevelopment #Learning

Your legacy isn't just what you accomplished. It's whether the business thrives after you leave. This belief has guided Kinetic through three successful leadership transitions over 10 years. After leading Kinetic through four years of growth, Rob Turner transitioned to a new role within Volaris in 2020. His successor? Luke Warren, who was then Kinetic's Chief Commercial Officer. He brought extensive sales experience to chart new directions for the business. Since joining Volaris, Kinetic has strengthened its position by acquiring Occam Systems, Celcat, HeyHub (acquired by Volaris), and Bullet Solutions - Leading the Scheduling and Timetabling Evolution. Both Turner and Warren have become more involved with M&A, while Kinetic co-founder Chris Wildsmith is thriving in his latest opportunity after selling the company in 2015. Kinetic's succession journey is an inspiration for any leader wanting to develop talent from within their own organization. 2025 marks a special milestone for Kinetic as we celebrate 10 years of the company being part of the Volaris Group network. What makes Kinetic's story remarkable isn't just the business growth — it's the people behind it. From Chris Wildsmith's founding vision to Rob Turner's expansion of the company with Volaris best practices, to Luke Warren bringing his sales background to the business, Kinetic has grown organically and through strategic acquisitions since acquired by Volaris. Kinetic shows that thoughtful succession planning and continuous mentorship are key to a company's long-term stability and ability to thrive. Kinetic's 10-year highlights: 📈 A culture of coaching and leadership to enable success in leadership transition 📈 Multiple strategic acquisitions expanding capabilities in student accommodation, timetabling, and engagement 📈 Three generations of leaders who built their careers within Volaris Read the full story of leadership transitions, growth, and new opportunities: https://lnkd.in/g34ZNMZk #ForeverInvested #SuccessionPlanning #EducationSoftware #EdTech #StudentAccommodation #Mentorship

I don’t care what anyone says… you cannot build an epic culture 100% remote. Not the type I love and enjoy anyway. Time together gives you lots of obvious stuff but it’s the unexpected moments that make the real difference. •The corridor chat. •The 'silly' question you’d never pick up the phone for. •The person who’d never ask for time if you hadn’t bumped into each other. In some settings, research shows people remember up to 3x more when learning face-to-face compared to remote. We’re wired for it! This isn’t a “WFH vs Office” rant. I’m not binary enough to think it has to be one or the other. This post is a celebration of people, of positive culture and of learning and development. And no one does this more consistently than Volaris Group. Every year we invest millions bringing people together to learn, grow, and ultimately deliver for customers which is what protects and strengthens our companies. Last week's 'Unlock' event focused on AI and wearing the customers shoes. Because if you’re not speaking with customers, meeting with them and innovatively solving their challenges… you’re not running a business, you’re waiting for one to slowly die. The businesses I'm lucky to work with daily had a blast! Kinetic, DisplayNote Technologies Ltd, Bullet Solutions - Leading the Scheduling and Timetabling Evolution, Kinetic North America, SPARK TSL, Celcat. From Neil Jordan winning the Rock Paper Scissors icebreaker, to Kinetic retaining the bookings trophy, to Ed Morgan and team winning the event challenge to David Wilkes closing the conference with what can only be described as an AI masterclass... thank you. To Tony DeSilvester and Volaris Group... thank you for building a culture that’s genuinely different. Humble, low-ego, long-term focused and learning-obsessed. To Tanya Gupta … what an event, thank you 👏.

“AI is changing the world in tangible ways, but unfocused efforts will fall short.” For its inaugural Unlock 2025 event in Miami, Volaris Group's Tony DeSilvester portfolio gathered nearly 200 software leaders from 30 companies to focus on the human connections that drive change: cross-portfolio conversations, idea exchanges, playful breaks, and real time application of learnings. Across leadership tracks, the discussion wasn’t just about whether to adopt AI, but how to guide it with intention. Not layering AI onto everything, but weaving it into strategies that already work to produce meaningful outcomes for customers. Participants departed with renewed inspiration and actionable insights on how to position themselves to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving market. The next chapter for AskCody: AskCody har been acquired by Volaris Group. When I set out to build AskCody more than a decade ago, it was with a belief that meetings could be better managed, and that technology could help transform the workplace for the better. Along the way, more than 100 colleagues have joined us on the journey, contributing ideas, courage, curiosity, and hard work. Together, we built something that mattered. Today, that belief and effort has been recognized in a defining way: I'm super proud to share that AskCody has been acquired by Volaris Group and is now joining one of the largest vertical software companies in the world. To me, this is not an exit. It is a launchpad. We remain AskCody - in name, in product, and in mission. But now, with the strength, backing, and long-term vision of Volaris, we can scale sustainably and ambitiously. I want to thank every colleague who helped us get here, and most importantly, our customers who trusted us with something so business-critical: managing their meetings. That trust has been our fuel, and it will continue to guide us forward. The road hasn’t always been easy. We’ve made mistakes, taken wrong turns, and learned hard lessons. But those lessons made us stronger, and they prepared us for this next chapter. We’re here to stay. And now, we’re here to scale. Learn more about the acquisition in this article. Onwards and upwards, Allan

The businesses winning with AI aren't just buying tools — they're building cultures of continuous learning and experimentation. Volaris Group's recent webinar with Jeff Chow and Glyn Trott drove the point home that AI isn't a magic solution. It requires fundamentally rethinking how we work. Four insights from the discussion: 1️⃣ Rethink your workflows first. One Volaris business paused a sprint cycle to entirely redesign their workflows to become AI-first. The result? They finished their product roadmap ahead of schedule. Sometimes, slowing down is the fastest way forward. 2️⃣ Address the human side of AI. Employee fears about AI are real. At agentOS, they combine employee empathy with tackling the problem head-on, using structured discussions, OKRs and KPIs, and encouraging a "T-shaped" career model that values deep expertise paired with AI-enhanced breadth. 3️⃣ AI is reshaping customer relationships. Customers are facing AI disruption, too. This creates an opportunity. Software providers can position themselves as trusted guides to navigate an AI transition. 4️⃣ Set goals to guide AI experimentation. Avoiding AI experimentation completely can leave you too far behind competitors. But don't go down rabbit holes, either. Set clear objectives and time limits before starting AI projects.
