I contacted the Immigration Representatives Mailbox to verify how work experience at foreign consulates or embassies in Canada is evaluated for Express Entry. IRCC confirmed that: ·     Such work may be recognized as foreign work experience if all requirements are fulfilled. ·     It does not qualify as Canadian work experience, as the employer and employee are regarded as outside the Canadian labour market. ·     Final evaluations are always case-specific and depend on the documentation submitted.
