As part of our Build Big Talent initiative, the Public Policy Forum convened 13 presidents of Ontario colleges for a roundtable discussion in Ottawa yesterday, held in partnership with Colleges Ontario and Colleges and Institutes Canada.   The discussion highlighted colleges’ vital role in preparing and training Canada’s workforce to drive economic growth and productivity. Participants shared how colleges are advancing partnerships with industry and with one another, building innovation ecosystems and demonstrating agility in adapting programs to meet labour market needs.   We would like to thank Maureen Adamson, president of Colleges Ontario; Inez Jabalpurwala, PPF's President & CEO; and Riaz J. Gen Z aren’t the “chronic job-hoppers” they’re often made out to be. In fact, their job tenure mirrors that of past generations at the same age. “This happens to every young generation,” says Ivey's Karen MacMillan in a new article for the Canadian HR Reporter. She explains that older generations often see their own values as “virtuous” and assume younger ones lack them, though the evidence doesn’t support that. The real drivers of retention?
