🍷 To mark the final week of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, over 20 health groups have come together with one clear message for policymakers: it’s time to take stronger action against alcohol. In a joint statement, the European Health Alliance on Alcohol (EHAA) - a coalition of experts and organisations working to reduce the burden of alcohol-related harm across Europe – is calling on EU and national policymakers to introduce mandatory health warnings on alcoholic beverages. Why? Because these warnings are essential to better inform people about the proven link between alcohol and cancer.    💬 “Alcohol increases breast cancer risk, even in small amounts.
