What if your brand wasn’t just a product — but a world? After his Paradigms talk, Tom Beckman, Global Chief Creative Officer at Weber Shandwick, sat down with us and shared how brands are redefining their role in culture. By building IP, stories, characters, worlds — they’re transforming from marketers to world-makers. It’s a new creative law: when your brand earns its place in culture, everything changes. #Frontify #Alwaysonbrand #Paradigms
Rebranding isn’t about reinvention. It’s about clearer storytelling. As audiences evolve, so do the narratives that connect them to brands. A refreshed logo or color palette can signal change — but it’s the renewed clarity of purpose and sense of community that build enduring relevance. In our latest Up/Front feature, design journalist Lauren Morris-Jansen explores how brands like Figma, Audi China, and LoveFrom evolve with intention — balancing heritage and innovation to stay culturally meaningful. Because strong brands don’t become something new. They express who they are with greater conviction. What happens when design is centred around service, not outputs? For Nu Goteh, founder of ROOM FOR MAGIC and Deem Journal, design isn’t about polish, perfection, or fidelity — it’s about participation. In our latest Visionaries story, he challenges traditional ideas of what “good design” looks like and who gets to be called a designer. When we centre design around service and dignity, it becomes more than problem-solving — it becomes an invitation to shape our shared reality. Explore how rethinking design through the lens of service opens up space for inclusion, imagination, and empowerment. What a week at DAM New York 2025! The Frontify team had an incredible couple of days connecting with the DAM community — and bringing home not one, but two major wins! Our amazing Principal Account Manager, Jill Christy Herb, took home the DAM Bake Off trophy — in her first year competing! That makes it back-to-back wins for Frontify, proving once again the strength of our platform and team. Meanwhile, Thomas M. Meichtry wowed the crowd for the best AI for the real world in the AI Showcase, taking home the win with his demo. We’re especially proud to be the only vendor to participate in both competitions — and to walk away with wins in each. Huge thanks to everyone at Henry Stewart Events DAM NY for another fantastic event — and to all the brilliant DAM pros we met and learned from. Here’s to innovation, creativity, and community. #Frontify #Alwaysonbrand
"When we centre design around service, design becomes an invitation." ROOM FOR MAGIC’s Nu Goteh wowed the crowd at Paradigms with his bold, inspiring take on design — not as a product, but as a process that includes those who benefit from it. His practice centers community and dignity, not just fidelity. He spoke to us about what that means, and what results when you include people who aren't traditionally considered designers in the design process. #Frontify #Alwaysonbrand
