How do we secure the supply of #criticalminerals while upholding high environmental and social standards? This was the focus of recent events where our leaders shared Glencore’s perspective: ⭐ At Zug Economy Day, our CEO Gary Nagle joined Urs Gredig for a discussion on raw materials – from the strategic importance of commodities to sustainability opportunities and challenges. ➡️ In Geneva, our Head of Sustainability, Anna Krutikov, joined a panel on shaping global trade frameworks. She highlighted the role of downstream investment and collaboration in building sustainable supply chains: “We don’t have to reinvent the wheel. We must think about the system as a whole and find the levers to unlock change and catalyse development.” 💬 💡At the Sustainable Switzerland conference, Lillian Goldsmith (Co-Head of Responsible Sourcing Supply Chain Due Diligence) spoke about strengthening supply chain standards. She highlighted the work we’re doing with suppliers to help make sure our supply due diligence processes meet rigorous regulatory requirements, including training and auditing suppliers in markets like the #DRC. These conversations highlight why collaboration across industry, policymakers, and society is key to securing global supply responsibly.
