🔷 10 Years Since the SDGs: Where Do We Stand? 🔷 In 2015, the United Nations adopted the Sustainable Development Goals with a bold promise: to leave no one behind. A decade later, social workers across the globe have witnessed both meaningful progress and devastating gaps in achieving these goals. As social workers, we remain committed to walking alongside those most affected — advocating, empowering, and building bridges toward inclusive development. 📣 The SDGs are not just policy targets. They are a moral imperative. 🤝 Let’s renew our commitment to collaboration, accountability, and action. #SDGs #SocialWork #SustainableDevelopment #LeaveNoOneBehind #Justice #Equity #GlobalGoals #SocialImpact https://lnkd.in/d44nDmC5

We extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved families and our heartfelt sympathy to all those who are enduring loss, injury, and displacement amid the #AfghanistanEarthquake We particularly acknowledge and commend our colleagues in the Afghanistan Social Workers Organization who, despite immense challenges, continue to serve affected individuals and communities with dedication and compassion. Their unwavering commitment reflects the core values of the social work profession—upholding human dignity, providing care in times of crisis, and fostering resilience in the face of adversity. This tragedy underscores the urgent need for international cooperation. We call upon the global community—governments, humanitarian organizations, and civil society—to work together in mobilizing immediate assistance and to support Afghanistan’s longer-term recovery and reconstruction. Solidarity and coordinated action are essential to ensuring that those most affected receive the support they need to rebuild their lives and communities. https://lnkd.in/dNZMxPMe https://lnkd.in/dNZMxPMe
