Lalique is built by hands, minds, and hearts. In this series, we shine a light on the people shaping our craft, our vision, and our everyday. Meet Daniel PORT, Director of the Lalique Manufacture in Wingen-sur-Moder, Alsace. With over 35 years of experience spanning the automotive and glass industries, Daniel brings deep expertise in industrial transformation and operational excellence. Born in Saint-Avold, in the Lorraine region, France’s former mining heartland, he carries with him the values of hard work, resilience, and leadership. From precision machining to large-scale glass production and the refined craft of luxury crystal making, Daniel’s career has been shaped by constant challenges — and his ability to turn them into opportunities. At the helm of Lalique’s only production site worldwide, Daniel leads a passionate team of nearly 300 artisans in Wingen-sur-Moder. Here, tradition meets innovation, crafting hundreds of thousands of exquisite crystal pieces each year inspired by René Lalique’s timeless themes of flora, fauna, and the female form. This craftsmanship, passed down through generations, has earned Lalique the prestigious French “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” (EPV) label. Since joining Lalique in 2023, Daniel has spearheaded a strategic transformation—reorganizing workshops, increasing production capacity through continuous improvement and optimisation, investing in cutting-edge equipment, and fostering team development. Guided by intuition, authenticity, and leading by example, he is dedicated to preserving the soul of Lalique craftsmanship while preparing the manufacture for a bold and sustainable future. #WeAreLalique #LaliqueMoments

Lalique is built by hands, minds and hearts. In this series, we shine a light on the people shaping our craft, our vision and our everyday. Meet Marc Larminaux, Lalique's Artistic and Creative Director. Marc joined Lalique over 20 years ago as a junior designer. Today, he leads our creative studio in Paris. He has always been drawn to nature. As a child, he filled his notebooks with sketches of birds, insects and trees. That love of detail and beauty led him to study sculpture and design in France, and later in London. Marc keeps the soul of Lalique intact while finding new forms and ideas to express it. He has developed a way of working that combines digital sculpture with the traditional hands-on techniques that have shaped Lalique for generations. He works closely with our artisans in Alsace to ensure every piece stays true to the spirit of Lalique, while continuing to evolve. Marc is inspired by nature, art and the legacy of René Lalique. He brings that passion into everything he creates, from crystal collections to collaborations with artists, architects and luxury houses around the world. His vision keeps us moving forward. #WeAreLalique #LaliqueMoments
