“Using regenerative principles in farming is not a choice, it's a necessity.” #WorldCottonDay reminds us that the future of cotton and agriculture depends on bold, regenerative action. An excellent example of a model that has the potential to drive systems-level shifts in how cotton is sourced by fashion companies worldwide are the Regenerative Production Landscape Collaboratives (RPLC). We asked The Partnering Initiative (TPI) to conduct an in-depth analysis of the impact of these collaboratives. 🔗 Learn more in the full video: https://lnkd.in/eTCBWe92 🔗 And learn more about RPLC: https://lnkd.in/eevZ-hQW

Exciting developments from the Future Forward Factories initiative! H&M Foundation is committing SEK 53 million (EUR 5 million) in funding towards Future Forwards Factories, the pioneering collaborative initiative led by Fashion for Good and Arvind Limited. With their contribution, H&M Foundation joins the initiative’s anchor funders Laudes Foundation, Apparel Impact Institute and IDH as a main funder. Launched earlier this year together with apparel manufacturer Arvind Limited as anchor partner, Future Forward Factories aims to deliver an open-source blueprint to decarbonising apparel manufacturing, with Arvind's first demonstrator facility in Gujarat, India, showing what near net zero looks like in practice. “Future Forward Factories is a critical step in driving system-level change... laying the foundation for a more resilient and regenerative future for fashion.” – Katrin Ley, Managing Director, Fashion for Good.
