MSC reaffirms its commitment to avoid the Northern Sea Route. Our vessels will not transit the Arctic’s Northern Sea Route. The route remains underdeveloped for safe commercial shipping, and increased traffic could accelerate ice melting and affect fragile ecosystems and communities.
