What an unforgettable evening! ✨ Last week, our Supper Club Experience in Four Courses in our planted.bistro by Ars Culinaria brought guests on a culinary journey through Switzerland’s landscapes, from crystal-clear waters to fresh mountain breezes, including the art of open-fire cooking. Each dish celebrated heritage ingredients, local herbs, bold plant-based flavors and of course our latest innovations such as planted.pastrami. 🔥 The result? A night that was wild, vibrant, and full of surprises, proving once again that real taste can be both plant-based and extraordinary. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for this special evening at our planted.bistro in Kemptthal, we loved sharing this experience with you. 💚 #approvedbymeatlovers

Unique and juicy plant-based meat, with the perfect meaty bite and only clean ingredients. 🌱 🌏 💜 B Corp Certified.
Info
Planted combines proprietary structuring and fermentation technologies to produce meat from plant proteins, focusing on delicious taste, meaty and juicy texture, while only using clean ingredients. Planted designs and structures its meat in any size, shape, and fibrous texture and is driven by the conviction that they will outperform animal meat in the future in terms of taste, sustainability, health, efficiency and price. Committed to using only clean ingredients and no additives in all its products, Planted is setting a completely new standard in the plant-based meat category, making it a healthy and sustainable choice for all. Truly better than meat from animals. A growing population along with increasing life expectancy and incomes are major drivers for the rise in global meat demand. However, the current scale of the animal meat industry is beyond unsustainable. Planted wants to change that. The Zurich-based FoodTech spin-off from the Swiss Technical Institute of Technology (ETH) was founded in 2019 and was quick to build intellectual property around their technological approach, currently holding several patents. Planted is a certified B Corporation. Planted’s principal meat production is in a glass-house production facility in Kemptthal (Zurich) Switzerland - the first transparent meat production open to the public. Planted meats are available in over 6100 restaurants and more than 8700 retail outlets across Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, UK and BeNeLux as well as over its own Europewide webshop. The Planted meat ranges, each consisting of different protein sources, currently include planted.chicken, planted.pulled, planted.kebab, planted.duck, planted.schnitzel, planted.bratwurst, planted.slices Lyoner and planted.steak. In addition, there are various limited editions in close collaboration with star chefs such as Tim Raue, Damien Germanier, Haya Molcho or Sebastian Copien.

Today is World Food Day, a moment to reflect on one of the most powerful tools we have to shape a better future: the way we eat. At Planted, we believe that food should nourish not only people, but also the planet. That’s why we are rethinking meat, creating delicious, nutritious, plant-based proteins that are better for the environment, animals, and future generations. 🌱 Made from a few natural ingredients 💪 Rich in protein and fibre 💦 Produced with a fraction of the land, water, and emissions compared to animal meat But World Food Day is also a reminder that access to healthy, sustainable food is still a global challenge and that innovation, awareness, and collaboration are key to changing that. Let’s continue working together to create a food system that’s fair, resilient, and truly sustainable. 🌍 #WorldFoodDay

Yesterday, the European Parliament voted in favor of banning “meaty” terms for plant-based products. Only recently, the Swiss Federal Court explicitly confirmed that words like sausage, burger, or steak are not misleading. Now the EU Parliament wants to go even further – even though it rejected such restrictions only a few years ago. This debate highlights one thing above all: the relevance of our work and the societal shift that is already well underway. Culinary and cultural terms help consumers intuitively understand plant-based products and integrate them effortlessly into daily life. A celery schnitzel or a Planted sausage – nobody would assume they contain animal meat. Even more telling: the debate is framed as consumer protection, yet leading consumer protection organizations themselves are against such bans. This shows the real story: the immense pressure from the meat industry to protect its turf. For innovative companies like us – investing heavily into the EU with, for example, our new production site in Memmingen (Germany) – such political discussions are frustrating. But we keep going. With or without these terms. Because our mission isn’t tied to names – it’s tied to great taste, real impact, and building the future of protein. And let’s not forget: our industry isn’t just about sustainability, it represents one of Europe’s biggest economic opportunities. With strong innovation, new jobs, and global competitiveness on the line, Europe has everything to gain by enabling, not restricting, better proteins. We will continue to fight this together with partners and competitors across the industry. Nothing is lost yet and we trust the 27 EU states to come to a meaningful conclusion. Please keep supporting by signing the ongoing petition: https://lnkd.in/dgGb4hfc We’re standing up for choice, clarity, and better proteins for a sustainable future. 🌍 💜

🐾 On World Animal Day, we're reminded of the powerful role our food choices play, not just for animals, but for the entire planet. At Planted, we’re rethinking meat. We envision a food system that respects life, restores balance, and requires zero animals. According to research from the Weizmann Institute of Science: 🐄 Livestock make up 62% of global mammal biomass 👨👩👧👦 Humans: 34%, 🐘 Wild mammals? Just 4%. This imbalance isn’t just a number, it reflects the urgent need to rethink the way we produce protein. At Planted we believe there’s a better way: By creating meat from plants, we can reduce animal suffering, protect wild species, and free up land for nature to thrive, all without compromising on taste or nutrition. Let’s make every day a step toward a more compassionate and sustainable future! What’s on your plate matters, for animals and for the planet. 🌍 https://lnkd.in/efCe_HJu #WorldAnimalDay

🥩 Hands off our schnitzels & steaks! The European Commission wants to ban everyday words like “burger”, “sausage” – and even “steak” – from plant-based foods. Yes, really. Let’s be clear: nobody is confused by a “plant-based steak” or a “vegan sausage.” These terms help people understand how to cook and enjoy sustainable proteins. Taking them away would do the opposite – creating confusion and slowing down the shift towards healthier, climate-friendly diets. So if this isn’t about protecting consumers, who is it about? The answer seems obvious: protecting the meat lobby and an outdated system from progress. At Planted, we believe consumers deserve choice, clarity and delicious proteins that are better for the planet. 🌍 ✍️ That’s why we’re calling on all policymakers in the European Parliament to reject this harmful proposal. And we’re inviting YOU to join us: 👉 Add your name to the petition here: https://lnkd.in/dgGb4hfc Because this is bigger than words. It’s about the future of food - and making sure better proteins are here to stay. #BetterProteins #ConsumerChoice #EU #ActNow
