🌍🎙️“What happens when global health voices step outside their silos?” At the World Health Summit in Berlin, the Global Health Matters podcast marked 5️⃣ years of cross-cutting conversations that connect scientists, policy-makers, innovators, and communities across 180+ countries. From tackling misinformation that costs lives, to highlighting the power of personal storytelling (like Daisy Hernández's narrative on #Chagas disease), the podcast has become a unique platform where global health journeys are shared in all their complexity. 💡 With over 130,000 downloads, voices from leaders like Joanne Liu, MDCM, FRCPC, John-Arne Røttingen, Joy Phumaphi, and Monica Bharel MD, MPH, to grassroots innovators have found space here. As host, Dr Garry Aslanyan says, the goal is to “destroy silos” and build a neutral platform for respectful but provocative debate — one that global health urgently needs. 👉 In an era of fragmented information, the podcast reminds us: information itself is now a social determinant of health. 📰 ➡️ https://lnkd.in/d9TDY3aJ ✍Stefan C.
