World leaders are heading to Brazil for #COP30. So what’s it all about? The United Nations climate talks are taking place in Belém, at the heart of the Brazilian Amazon, bringing together governments from across the world to address how to tackle the climate crisis. They must cut emissions faster and support people and nature to adapt to a warming planet. From ending deforestation and phasing out fossil fuels, to scaling up renewables and restoring nature, we already have the solutions – but they need urgent action. Every fraction of a degree of warming matters. The world can’t afford more delays or broken promises. Read more: https://bit.ly/4oimJ9p

Creating a world where people live in harmony with nature. Together, anything is possible.
Info
Nature is our life-support system. That’s why WWF – an independent conservation organization active in nearly 100 countries – is tackling the deepening crisis of nature loss caused by human activities. Our ambition is to set nature on the path to recovery in the coming decade for the benefit of people and wildlife. Working with many others, we must protect and restore natural habitats, stop the mass extinction of wildlife, and make the way we produce and consume sustainable. ============ General information Thank you for joining the WWF LinkedIn community. Swipe through to spot some elusive #SnowLeopards caught on camera! Together with local communities, WWF-India completed one of India’s most extensive high-altitude camera trap surveys in the Western Arunachal Landscape, documenting 31 species, including 20+ snow leopards. These insights deepen our understanding of Himalayan biodiversity and help identify threats so we can better protect snow leopards in India.

Snow leopard Lamu, spotted by a local photographer in Sichuan Province, China, gave birth to her first litter of three cubs – two of whom are inseparable. As she drinks from a mountain spring, her curious cubs watch and learn, mimicking her every move. Though #SnowLeopards face growing threats from habitat loss, poaching, and conflict with people, moments like this remind us why protecting our planet and its magnificent species matters so deeply. 💙

The way we produce, consume, and waste food is harming our planet. It’s the number one cause of #BiodiversityLoss – a crisis unfolding in real time. The good news? We still have time to reverse nature loss. It starts on our plates. 🍓

Getting cows to fart a little less is pretty tricky. 🐄💨 But changing what we put on our plates is easy as pie, and could make a big difference to our planet. #WorldFoodDay
