Error Assessment of Dynamic Supershear Rupture Measurements Obtained with Digital Image Correlation
–
Conducted simulated experiments by designing finite element analysis and by deforming experimentally obtained speckle images with FEM displacement fields. Assessed the measurement's accuracy comparing the known fields with those captured by DIC.

Wrinkling Instabilities in Membranes
–
Simulated the formation of wrinkles and the post-wrinkling behavior of a thin membrane in simple shear. Created a toolkit to process and analyze the post-wrinkling behavior. Conducted a parametric study to evaluate the effects of characteristic parameters on the formation of wrinkles and post-wrinkling behavior in the numerical simulation.
