AXIA Ventures Group acted as Joint Bookrunner in relation to PPC S.A.’s €775 million 5NC2 Green Senior Notes due 2030 issuance priced at par with a 4.25% coupon. AXIA Ventures Group acted as Joint Bookrunner in the accelerated bookbuild offering of 22,401,744 shares of Bank of Cyprus held by EBRD, representing 5.14% of the total shares outstanding, marking the supranational’s divestment from the bank. The offering priced at €7.20 per share, reflecting a c.5.0% discount to the undisturbed closing price and attracted strong demand from high-quality institutional investors. Since EBRD’s initial investment in 2014, Bank of Cyprus, the country’s largest lender, has undergone a remarkable turnaround returning to profitability and sustainable growth. This successful exit not only concludes EBRD’s investment journey but also enhances the liquidity of Bank of Cyprus shares on ATHEX broadening its investor base. AXIA Ventures Group acted as Exclusive Financial Advisor to EDP Renewables in relation to the agreement for the sale of a 150MW operating renewable energy portfolio in Greece. EDPR, established in 2007 as the renewable energy arm of EDP, is one of the largest renewables energy producers globally. Listed on Euronext Lisbon, EDPR has established a robust footprint across Europe, North America, South America and Asia/Pacific. The transaction scope comprises four operating wind farms benefiting from 20-year Contracts for Difference. With this sale, EDPR has already secured ~€0.7 billion of its ~€2 billion Asset Rotation Proceeds target for 2025. AXIA Ventures Group acted as Exclusive Financial Advisor to Donkey Hotels & Resorts and its shareholders in their transaction with Azora. Azora, a leading international alternative investment management platform and one of the leading hospitality and leisure investors in Europe, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Ioannou family through Donkey Hotels S.A., with a shared vision to establish an institutional-quality hospitality platform focused on the Greek market. This partnership has been formed through the acquisition by funds managed by Azora of a 50.1% equity stake in Donkey Hotels from exiting minority shareholders, with the remaining 49.9% of the company retained by members of the Ioannou family, represented by Mr. Christos Ioannou.   Donkey Hotels currently owns and operates five luxury hospitality assets in Greece, with a total of 834 rooms, including four iconic assets in Athens – InterContinental Hotel, NEW Hotel, Semiramis Hotel and Periscope Hotel – and the NOUS Hotel in Santorini. As part of the transaction, both parties have agreed to commit new capital to Donkey Hotels to execute an agreed strategic growth plan.
