Krásnou Noc vědy všem! 🥂💙 🎀 My jsme si pro vás letos přichystaly*i dobrovolnou hru: můžete sami*y, s kámošstvem nebo partnerstvem zahrát naše vědecké bingo. 🧠 Pravidla jsou na vás - my samozřejmě doufáme, že nevyškrtáte všechno. Ale vědecké kolektivy pár studujících či vědkyň už by mohly... 🫂 Přestože doufáme, že obsažené citace opravdu nejsou na té vaší životní bingo card, naše citace bohužel mají podklad v realitě a víme, že ne výjimečně. Touto hrou je nicméně posíláme do minulosti! 💞 PS: Bingo v A5 dostupné a naše schránky na další náměty jsou nadále otevřené! 💌

✨ It is such an honour to join this year’s congress of ENRIO European Network of Research Integrity Offices, with a keynote on “Leadership, courage, and responsibility: Addressing Gender-Based Violence as a Matter of Research Integrity.” 💜 I am so glad to see that the talk resonated and that the findings and insights from #UniSAFE and GenderSAFE could reach such a receptive and engaged audience. 📚 These will be two inspiring days dedicated to research integrity, with important links to academic freedom 🎓

💥Workshop na téma intersekcionálního přístupu při tvorbě a implementaci plánů genderové rovnosti je za námi! V pražském AKC se konalo už třetí letošní setkání naší Komunity pro změnu. Diskutovali*y jsme nejen přínosy intersekcionálního přístupu, ale i možná rizika a sdíleli*y inspirativní příklady dobré praxe. 🫂 🗯️Zkušenosti a doporučení, která na setkání zazněly, jsou velmi cenné pro posouvání agendy genderové rovnosti ve vědě a výzkumu dál. Proto za diskusi a hojnou účast mockrát děkujeme! A pomalu už se těšíme na naše vánoční setkání, které už tradičně proběhne v prostorách Vily Lanna. 📆

Díky za dnešní pozvání na zasedání Pracovní skupiny Lidé ve vědě. 🙏 V NKC gender & science rozjíždíme nový analytický úkol k intersekcionálním nerovnostem ve vědě a VŠ. 📊 Probírali jsme i proplácení nákladů na péči, což někteří poskytovatelé umožňují, v reálu taková možnost prakticky neexistuje. 🧾➡️🍼 Sice máme na fotce úsměv 🙂, ale nebyly to radostné debaty. 🌍 Prague Conference alert! 📢 On 25 September 2025, the AGRIGEP Final Conference will take place at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague – and our Marcela Linkova will deliver the keynote presentation! 👩🏫 Her keynote will open the day by exploring how inclusive Gender Equality Plans (GEPs) can drive real and sustainable change in academia and research. 📆 The AGRIGEP Final Conference aims to reflect on and synthesize the experiences gained during the implementation of Gender Equality Plans (GEPs) in agricultural and life sciences higher education institutions (HEIs) across Central and Eastern Europe. 🗣️We’re in danger of losing much of what we’ve achieved 🗞️In an interview for Kifinfo, Head of the NKC gender & science and recently concluded GENDERACTIONplus project Marcela Linkova points out a number of breakthroughs in recent years in the gender equality policy in R&I, such as gender equality plan requirements, actions against gender-based violence and greater focus on intersectionality. 🌎🔥 But the current global situation is making Linková feel uneasy about the future. ⬇️ 👤“We’ve seen the emergence of anti-gender movements in many EU countries, even in countries we considered stable, like Sweden. The political situation in Poland has improved slightly, but it remains especially serious in countries such as Hungary, Slovakia and Bulgaria,” she commented. 💡 In the interview, you can find more on the recent developments in Europe, but also in the US under Donald Trump, subsequently affecting the research collaborations with Europe. ❓What are the crucial turning points we have to ensure in the future?
