Today, our CEO Marc A. Wietfeld took the stage at TECH by Handelsblatt in Heilbronn, joining the panel: “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 – 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝗲?” In a conversation with Larissa Holzki, he addressed one of the most pressing questions of our time: How do we ensure that Europe doesn’t just keep up, but leads in critical defense innovation? 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿: The rise of a new generation of defense companies is essential for building true European resilience – companies that can deliver unmanned systems, breakthrough technologies, and scalable innovation at speed and at scale. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁: these capabilities must remain under European ownership and control – including the supply chain. At the Capgemini booth, we’re demonstrating the flexible payload capabilities of the GEREON RCS as a mobile foundation for joint operations 5G connectivity frameworks. We’re also showcasing live access to the GEREON RCS sensor stream – e.g video streams, thermal imaging, and spectrum analysis for real-time situational awareness applications. 🇺🇦 ARX Ukraine joins the development of the UGV ecosystem in Ukraine! Together with Dignitas Ukraine, The Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, the Command of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the BRAVE1 defense-tech cluster, we partnered in organizing the conference "Ukrainian Ground Superiority Technologies." This event brought together developers, military users, and state institutions around a common goal - to accelerate the deployment of UGV within Ukraine’s Security and Defense Forces. 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝘄𝗲: - Discussed current operational requirements for UGVs directly with combat units - Presented ARX Robotics solutions already proven effective in battlefield conditions - Explored formats for potential cooperation with other key players in the field "Modern warfare is reshaping tactics, approaches, and technologies known to the world. Unmanned ground systems have become an integral part of this transformation," says Ganna Gvozdiar, Deputy Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine.
