Investing in the Future – Supporting the Next Generation of Innovators At BHTC, we believe that inspiring and empowering young minds is essential for shaping the future of technology. Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming two groups of future talents to our site: 👩🔬 During the MINT & Health Practice Day, organized by wfg Wirtschaftsförderung Kreis Soest GmbH, students from the Drost-Rose Realschule explored our products, experienced our production lines, visited the testing lab, and even took part in a hands-on soldering workshop. 🎓 We also hosted a group of Mechatronics students from the Hochschule Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences (HSHL), accompanied by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Krome. The group gained valuable insights into our innovation-driven work, including tours of our production and testing facilities. 🌿 Together for the Environment! 🌍 To celebrate World Environment Day, our team at BHTC Mexico organized a special activity last month — the Environmental Treasure Hunt (Eco-Búsqueda). More than 30 colleagues took part, following clues through different eco-friendly stations across our plant, learning about sustainability in a fun and engaging way. The highlight? A collective gesture of commitment: each participant placed their handprint on a shared canvas — a personal pledge to protect our environment. Leadership Transition at BHTC – Driving Forward with Continuity and Confidence   We are pleased to announce a key leadership development at BHTC GmbH as part of our continued integration into the AUO Group. As of July 1, 2025, Dr. Simon Hsu has assumed the role of CEO of BHTC. He follows Michael Jaeger, who has successfully led the company over the past four years and is now taking on a new strategic role as Strategy & Integration Advisor to support both AUO and BHTC. Dr. Simon Hsu brings nearly 20 years of international experience in the display and smart mobility sectors. As a key leader within AUO’s Smart Mobility Business Group, he has already worked closely with the BHTC team during the integration process and brings deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and global perspective. We sincerely thank Michael Jaeger for his strong leadership, vision, and dedication—especially throughout the crucial integration phase. His continued involvement ensures continuity and valuable strategic support for our future development. Spreading the Joy of Reading – One Book at a Time 🇲🇽💙 At BHTC Mexico, community engagement is more than a value — it’s part of who we are. Led by our incredible Community Support Committee, our team came together with heart and purpose to collect and donate over 200 books to two local foundations: Ojalá Niños AC and CASA HOGAR Corazon Valiente in San Miguel de Allende. These organizations do amazing work supporting children from low-income communities — and we were honored to contribute. But we didn’t stop at the donation: we spent time reading with the children, painting, and even acting out stories together. The laughter, curiosity, and creativity we shared made it a truly unforgettable experience. We are so proud of our colleagues in Mexico for their dedication, empathy, and hands-on commitment to making a difference. 🚀 Strengthening our expertise — first display training at BHTC Mexico! Last week, our team in Mexico took an important step towards the future of display manufacturing at BHTC. We hosted our first display training, led by Stephen Huang from AUO USA — an excellent example of international collaboration and knowledge sharing. With 16 participants from across departments — Quality, Manufacturing, IT, Supplier Quality, and Logistics — the training laid the foundation for upcoming display projects and future success.
