📣 We’re proud to share that dbPride has been recognized at this year’s Out & Equal Workplace Summit as a finalist for ERG of the Year! 🌈 dbPride, our LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group, began as a grassroots initiative in Frankfurt and has grown into a global network active in more than 30 countries. It creates safe spaces for colleagues to bring their authentic self to work and brings communities together through Pride celebrations worldwide. 🏆 We’re also thrilled to congratulate Jon Tilli, a Director in our Investment Bank and Global Chair of dbPride, who has been named winner for LGBTQ+ Corporate Advocate of the Year, recognizing his leadership in connecting chapters across regions and championing visibility, allyship and belonging. Out & Equal is the leading nonprofit advancing LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion globally. Its annual Workplace Summit convenes thousands of leaders to share best practices and celebrate progress.

Coming together for mental health – around the world 🌐 For World Mental Health Day, our colleagues hosted over 80 events across Deutsche Bank, driven by a global network of around 800 Mental Health First Aiders and our Well-being teams. 🐾 💬 From therapy dog visits, expert talks and personal stories to mindfulness breaks, yoga & breathwork, lunchtime walks and runs and creative sessions like meditative painting – each event offered practical tools to support everyday well-being. Thank you to everyone who created space for conversations, shared resources, and supported colleagues. Our commitment continues – because it’s okay not to be okay. 🤍

The UK publication’s list recognises highly influential women in the industry, considering their leadership and their support for the next generation of female talent over the past 12 months. Alison, our Global Head of Origination & Advisory and Co-Head of the Investment Bank, has more than three decades’ experience in financial services and is a leading figure in investment banking. Vathany, CEO of Deutsche Bank in the UK & Ireland, has been with the company for over 20 years and has been at the helm of our UK&I business since November 2023. When people feel safe to speak up without fear of judgement, they’re more likely to share how they’re doing, ask for help and support one another. Today is World Mental Health Day, but psychological safety isn’t a topic for just one day. It’s a joint effort by leaders and colleagues every day. 👥 Across our regions, over 800 trained Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAs) are ready to listen without judgement and direct colleagues to support – confidentially and with empathy. As trusted peers, they help make conversations about mental health more open, reduce stigma and connect people with the right resources. 🎥 Meet some of our MHFAs and hear how each of us can contribute by checking in with a colleague, making space for honest conversations and bringing empathy in the moments that matter. With over 100 teams competing globally, this year’s Hackathon focused on solving key challenges in digital payments. Our winning solution, the "Digital/Fiat Currencies Interlink Bridge," uses ISO 20022 to enable seamless cross-border transfers between CBDCs, digital currencies and fiat.
