At the Arla Foods milk powder factory AKAFA in Svenstrup, Denmark, GEA has installed the world’s first AddCool high-temperature heat pump system for a spray dryer. The results are impressive – in the first year of operations, the natural gas consumption of the dryer dropped by 𝟓𝟗%, cutting 𝟏,𝟓𝟎𝟎 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐎𝟐 𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 compared to the previous setup. At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of GEA Group AG made important decisions for the future of the company: Our CEO Stefan Klebert was unanimously and ahead of schedule appointed as Chairman of the Executive Board for a further two years – through the end of December 2028. In addition, our Supervisory Board has also decided to comprehensively restructure the GEA Executive Board and to streamline GEA’s organizational structure, effective January 1, 2026. These changes will set the course for strengthening our agility, accelerating the speed of implementation and future-proofing GEA.
