Have you ever wondered where exactly the Amazon is — and what’s happening there in innovation? 🌿🚀 Over the past days, startups from the LatAm Market Access Program found out first-hand, exploring Manaus — a city where the rainforest meets technology. 🇧🇷🇩🇪 At Fundação Paulo Feitoza (FPFtech), they discovered groundbreaking projects driving technological transformation in the region. Later, during a Pitch Session at Casarão Cassina, founders, investors, local governments, and innovation leaders came together to exchange ideas, share impact stories, and celebrate collaboration — wrapping up the day with a lively networking evening full of new connections. Day 2 was all about collaboration and public-sector dialogue: thanks to a warm welcome from Jeibi Medeiros, Executive Secretary for Science, Technology & Innovation of the State of Amazonas, startups presented their solutions to key state representatives, and later met President Anderson José de Sousa and municipal leaders at the Amazonas Association of Municipalities (AAM). 👏 Congratulations to our U.S. Market Access Life Sciences alumni, Tubulis GmbH, on successfully closing a phenomenal €308 Million ($361M) Series C financing round! One of the largest private biotech financings in Europe this year, the round was led by Venrock, with participation from Wellington Management, Ascenta Capital, and existing investors. Tubulis GmbH has achieved a truly remarkable milestone in their mission to redefine Antibody-Drug Conjugate (ADC) therapies for patients with hard-to-treat tumors.
