Digital payments are evolving fast and control over infrastructure is becoming a hot topic. 🔐🌍 ‘Battle of Rails’: national schemes are under pressure, while alternative methods are challenging #card systems, from real-time payments to #mobilewallets. So, what does this mean for banks, merchants, and schemes? A milestone worth celebrating – and we did it in great company. 🥳 To mark 25 years in the Transport & Logistics industry, we opened our doors to selected customers at our Munich headquarters for an evening full of connection, conversation, and appreciation. Guests explored our Experience Center and got a closer look at the full G+D portfolio – from Financial Platforms to Currency Technology and Digital Security. A guided tour through our #CashCenter offered exclusive insights into our operational excellence. Later, we gathered at der BOGEN, where Johannes Forster welcomed everyone with a toast. The customer panel that followed sparked engaging discussions about how our solutions are being used, the value they bring, and ideas for future improvements. The rest of the evening was all about great conversations, Bavarian-style finger food, and relaxed networking. As a thank-you, each guest received a customized solar tracker – a limited edition created just for this celebration – along with a small goodie bag. The award-winning note stands out through its use of a durable hybrid substrate, reflecting the bank’s early commitment to environmentally responsible solutions. As an adopter of G+D's #GreenBanknote, Eswatini has reduced waste and extended the circulation life of its currency for over a decade. It also features advanced banknote security technology: 5️⃣0️⃣ A RollingStar Patch reveals the number “50” and a traditional Nguni shield when tilted 🔁🎨 A RollingStar i+ security thread transitions from magenta to green, displaying “CBE” and the denomination in the light On the reverse side, the note showcases landmarks like Sibebe Rock, the MR7 Highway, and King Mswati III International Airport, surrounded by digital design elements that reflect Eswatini’s ambitions for future innovation.
