𝗔 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 – 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗠𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗠𝗪 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘁 11 After around a year of intensive preparation, we were able to celebrate the successful go-live of the migration from Alfabet 10.15 to Alfabet 11.8 together with our enterprise customer BMW Group on May 5, 2025 – a true milestone for everyone involved! What may look like a simple version upgrade on paper was, in reality, a complex project with far-reaching impacts on system configurations and a complete redesign of the user interface. The configuration of the new version required several adjustments compared to the 10.x version. Among other things, we successfully implemented:   ✅ Adjustment of over 100 Class Settings ✅ Creation of more than 90 Content Areas ✅ Adjustment of over 100 Data Quality Rules ✅ Modification of more than 300 Indicator Types ✅ Creation of 144 new Property Groups ✅ Development of over 30 new reports specifically for Alfabet 11 ✅ Setup of more than 75 Data Workbenches ✅ Processing of over 225 Jira tickets By now, Alfabet 11 from Alfabet GmbH - A Bizzdesign Company has approximately 1.500 active users per day at our customer. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 • Complexity Management: The highly customized configurations required thorough planning, standardized templates, and strict governance. • Test Coverage and Quality Assurance: Iterative testing and close collaboration with key users ensured functionality and user acceptance. • Change Management: The introduction of new functionalities and UI components was supported by targeted communication, training videos, and information flyers.   𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀: Close collaboration with the customer, transparent communication, a strong and dedicated migration team – and the shared commitment to getting the most out of Alfabet.
