We’re happy and thankful that we had the chance to attend the Intermodal Association of North America’s Business Meeting from May 5–7. Three days filled with new perspectives, strategic discussions and plenty of opportunities to connect with others in the industry. We especially enjoyed hearing from experts on timely topics, gaining executive-level insights and sharing ideas during interactive roundtable sessions. A special highlight was the Kansas City Royals vs. Chicago White Sox game - an unforgettable experience and an evening full of fun, good company and a relaxed atmosphere that brought everyone together. Many thanks to the organizers for hosting such a well-organized and impactful event. We truly appreciated the experience and look forward to what’s ahead in the world of intermodal transportation. Picture 1: Stephan Trauth and Sebastian Schwögler are enjoying the baseball game to the fullest, even if not all of their facial expressions reflect this :) Picture 2: Sluggerrr, the mascot of the Kansas City Royals, brought great vibes to the sidelines. Picture 3: Not only the players are the stars here – the furry teammate is joining the fun too! Picture 4: Sebastian Schwögler happy to be part of the event of IANA. Thanks again for having us!

🚧Safety and efficiency in the STS backreach – enabled by Mi-Star. Mi-Star closes a critical safety gap in terminal operations by enabling safe, simultaneous collaboration between personnel and straddle carriers in the STS backreach area. Using tags integrated into personnel helmets and readers in all relevant operational equipment, Mi-Star allows for real-time detection of personnel. Depending on the setup, the system can function either as an anti-collision system or provide visual and audible warnings—ensuring that neither suspended loads nor vehicles pose a risk to workers. Mi-Star enhances crane availability, improves visibility in high-risk zones, and enables the seamless integration of modern safety technology into existing terminal workflows. 👷♂️ Optimize Every Move. Protect Every Worker. 📣 Discover how our safety solution is already enhancing operations at the Eurogate Terminal – and why it matters, on page 72 of Hoist magazine’s STS Crane Survey!

Some insights from the last two days at the PEMA AGM in Gdańsk, Poland We are grateful to be part of the PEMA community, where the input from various industry leaders helps shape the future of the port industry! A big thank you to the PEMA team for the excellent organization and warm hospitality 🙌 – we always enjoy these events, especially the outstanding workshops that bring together ideas for white papers to guide the industry and inform operators and equipment manufacturers about trends, standards, and technology. This time we are also glad we could support the event a little – by sponsoring the transport to the port tour. The pictures below give a glimpse into our PEMA experience in Gdańsk: 1. If this doesn’t look like a good time at a PEMA event, what does? Our General Manager Stephan Trauth and our Sales Manager Sebastian Schwögler making the case to get involved. 2. Tour at the Baltic Hub Container Terminal – this was stunning. Seeing fully and semi-automated cranes working at peak efficiency and witnessing how the terminal expands to handle even more TEUs was impressive. This port is developing rapidly, and we were glad to catch a glimpse of it. 🚀 3. Slide of the day: Sebastian with a halo – some say it was the lighting, others say divine intervention. 😇 4. Classic conference moment – Our Executive Management Assistant Hannah Sophia Nemetz and Sebastian Schwögler striking a pose in front of the PEMA backdrop, as tradition demands. 📸 Besides the fun moments, we actively participated in interactive and innovative workshops in small groups – sharing expertise, giving direct input, and helping to shape the future of the industry. Events like this are essential to support the sector with expert insights, prevent costly missteps, and drive real innovation. Looking forward to what’s next! #PemaGdansk2025

With #InternationalWomensDay and #WomensHistoryMonth upon us, we’re highlighting the incredible women in #construction and #manufacturing driving innovation in our industry. We’re proud to spotlight Kellya Clanzig, Software Engineer at Mi-Jack Europe GmbH! Kellya shares her insights as a software engineer and the challenges she’s faced and overcome throughout her career. ➡️ 🔹 Career & Passion "After years in the automotive industry, I needed a change. This industry was the perfect place to apply my knowledge to new challenges. What I enjoy most is the proximity with the customers, I can see my work being used daily to improve the workflow for many people.” 🔹 Challenges & Growth "As a woman, it’s easy to not be taken seriously. I’ve learned to be very clear when I see a difference in how I’m treated compared to my male colleagues. Success in this field comes down to adaptability and responsibility; things are changing fast in this industry, and we all need to own our part." 🔹 The Importance of Representation "Women’s History Month is a reminder that there are still not a lot of women in this field, and change is slower than I hoped it would be. It’s important to speak up." 🔹 Advice for Women in the Industry "Don’t be afraid—this industry needs more of us!" Join us in celebrating Kellya and the women shaping the future of manufacturing and construction! 🎉 #WIC #WIM #WomenInManufacturing #WomenInConstruction #WomensHistoryMonth #InternationalWomensDay
