𝗙𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗖 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗲. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘂𝘀 to become them for the next generation, quietly normalizing what once felt exceptional: 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱. 💪 At unlock VC, I was struck by the mix of nationalities and backgrounds, from early-stage and growth investors to founders, lawyers, journalists, venture partners, and LPs. It shaped a remarkable range of conversations. 🌿 For me, and for us at NAP, the real 𝘂𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁. Diversity isn’t a metric, it’s an advantage in conviction, judgment, and decision-making. 🎯 Huge thanks to the unlock VC team for curating such an intentional 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲, and to all the brilliant women I met during the past days. 💜 cc: Sophie Winwood, Friederike Edmunds, Clarissa Rossbach, Isabella Vahdati, Lauren Walker, Casey Drabble, Mathilde Lyet, Soo Min Hong, Claire Houry, Alena Redeker, Mina Mutafchieva Van Ingelgem, Frederike Wolff, Lyydia Lappi, Ashna Ahmad, Anna Caro, Anamaria IUGA, Lucy Izquierdo Greene, Melusine Bliesener, and many more.
