    Full focus on Training ⚡ PUMA will create a separate Business Unit for Training to sharpen its focus and fully unlock the opportunities it sees for future growth in this category. To streamline decision making and help shape PUMA’s Apparel offer in other business categories, the newly established Business Unit Training will be based at the company’s global headquarters in Herzogenaurach. Training will be headed by industry expert Marwin Hoffmann, who was appointed Vice President BU Training with immediate effect. Erin Longin, previously responsible for both Running and Training, will continue to lead PUMA’s Business Unit Running in Boston.     The icon lives on 👟 Worn on courts, on stages, and on the streets - the PUMA Suede has lived many lives. Its story began in 1968 with the PUMA Crack, a shoe named after the sports term for exceptional talent. Designed for training and leisure, it was built to perform. That same year, the shoe rose to fame when Tommie Smith won the 200m race at the Olympics, becoming the first human to break the 20-second barrier. On the podium, he made history protesting racism and social inequality - his PUMA Crack placed beside him. Soon after, New York Knicks legend Walt “Clyde” Frazier joined PUMA and used the PUMA Crack as inspiration to develop his own basketball shoe: a low‑cut silhouette with the PUMA Crack's suede upper and his signature “Clyde” branding. The PUMA Clyde was born - a style icon both on and off the court. As the shoe grew globally, it took on a new name based on its signature material: the PUMA Suede. This Paris Fashion Week we are setting the Suede up for its next era. Keep your eyes peeled. 👀
