  • ✈️Hello, world! – Apprentice abroad✈️ Our trainee Jamie Marksteder from #Rittal is taking advantage of a unique opportunity to spend time abroad at our subsidiary in China. He shared his excitement with us: “As far away as possible, that's my motto. Other cultures are just so exciting. That's why I'm going to China in the autumn and will be working at the plant in Shanghai. I'm excited to see what project I'll be working on and whether I'll be able to live with a host family. I think it's incredibly cool to have this opportunity within FLG.” Jamie Marksteder, electronics technician for operational technology, 2nd year of training #WeAreRittal #YoungTalents #Apprenticeship #Career #WorkatRittal

  • A global tech race is currently underway: Who can generate the most value with AI applications, and who can do it most quickly? And when is quantum computing the next big thing? Newsweek's investment report takes an in-depth look at the entire process.  Prof. Dr. Niko Mohr, Rittal's CEO and Friedhelm Loh Group Executive Board Member, highlights how the European industry and digital economy can strive for pole position in industrial AI. Which software drivers create the use cases? And which enabling technologies do we need for the IT infrastructure? Read the answers in the interview!   #DeepTech #Rittal #Eplan #TechLeadership

How will IT look like in 2030 and beyond?   Newsweek recently asked about my thoughts on future of compute and especially on quantum computing and photonic chips. Are these just the next big buzzwords, or is there real substance behind this trend? These innovations will definitely effect the way we will design and set-up IT architectures and operate data centers in the future - not short-term but definitely in the 2030th. We are in close conversations with our key customers and partners to be part of the information and research loop and plan ahead for our R&D. Disruption is also becoming a new normal in future IT infrastructure. In the long run, we can envision new chip and IT architectures – e.g. using photon technology in future chip design and quantum computers in hybrid setups with high performance computers. Quantum computing will not immediately solve all complex problems, but it will begin addressing e.g. some of the very heavy simulation problems – like in material design or pharmaceuticals. Here, drug development is a very expensive and lengthy process, still partially done in a trial-and-error mode. Quantum computing’s advanced algorithms combined with the expected quantum computation performance could cut development times and costs by more than 50% which sounds very promising. We are keeping a close eye on these developments. But, despite all the excitement concerning these future developments, we shouldn’t forget today’s challenges. In 2026, the focus will be on rapidly expanding AI infrastructures for colocation and hyperscale environments using current-generation GPUs. And this will continue for the near-term future. Hence, topics like standardizing water cooling, optimizing power usage, addressing the energy challenge, and minimizing the carbon footprint will continue to be on top of our minds. These are the recent practical enablers of AI-driven growth.   #QuantumComputing #TechLeadership https://lnkd.in/eb9-PEnk

  • 🗣️My Rittal story in 100 words🗣️ What motivates our colleagues to always give 100% for our customers, even in challenging times? Michael Haynes from Rittal Ltd UK reports: “I joined Rittal during my studies and was soon offered a full-time position in the finance department. I then moved to the operational side of customer service and later headed up our technical team and the Mod Centre. I have now been with Rittal for 32 years, and the progressive nature of Rittal ensures that the work remains interesting. I also like the cooperation between employees. Another important reason for my loyalty to the company is the supportive culture – this was also the case in 2014 when I was diagnosed with lymphoma. Fortunately, the treatment was successful and I have been in remission for 10 years. Many of us are delighted when we see Rittal products in popular locations, such as sports stadiums. Particularly noteworthy is a KS box at the start of the famous Hahnenkamm downhill run in Kitzbühel, Austria!” #WeAreRittal #RittalTeam

  • 🧼🛠️ Mission dust-free: I go all out with LCP DX maintenance This time, I was on duty maintaining an LCP DX. My colleague Tobias B. joined me and together, we cleaned the devices with compressed air and got them back into perfect condition. 💨 The dust didn't stand a chance. And yes, I got a little dirty in the process. But that's all part of the job! ✅ The main thing is that the devices are running efficiently and safely again. Because clean cooling technology means reliable performance – especially in critical applications. Stay tuned. I'll be back on the road again soon! 🏃 Yours, Ribert #RiBertOnTour #RittalService #LCPDX #Maintenance #Efficiency #Teamwork #CoolingTechnology #RiBert

  • 🗣️My Rittal story in 100 words🗣️ There are many success stories, and everyone has their favourite projects – Huiwei Shi provides exclusive and exciting insights into the work of our Chinese team: I have been part of Rittal since 2017 – I was already familiar with the brand from my previous job, as Rittal products were used in all my projects. When the opportunity arose to join the company here in my hometown, I seized it immediately. Since then, I have seen first-hand how our lean transformation, with efficient production lines and optimized processes, is driving us forward. I am particularly proud of projects such as the introduction of a Salvagnini line in 2018, the construction of a wastewater treatment plant in 2022 and the factory expansion last year. Challenges like these motivate me personally to keep improving every day. #WeAreRittal #RittalTeam
