♻️ 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 – 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿   Sustainability can only succeed through collaboration. With our What’s Next Recycling Programme, we demonstrate how genuine partnership delivers measurable results. With Bordeaux University Hospital (CHU de Bordeaux) and our recycling partner Reviplast in Couzeix, we followed the journey of empty pipette tip boxes – from the laboratory to high-quality recycled material.   🔄 Circularity in practice: • Empty boxes are collected and prepared on site at Bordeaux University Hospital. • Reviplast then sorts and processes the material with high precision. • The recycled polypropylene is reintegrated into new products, such as our S-Monovette racks in Germany, and locally in France, for example, into car bumpers.   🌍 Sustainability by design We create circular systems that conserve resources, improve efficiency, and raise awareness. 📊 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 – 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹.    Through our What’s Next Recycling Program for pipette tip boxes, we collected more than 34 metric tons of pure polypropylene (PP) in 2024, reintroducing it into local recycling streams.     💡 This equals approximately 738,000 recycled 200 µl SingleRefill boxes – a tangible contribution to resource conservation and waste reduction.     🌍 Our recycling service is now active in 12 countries. Together with laboratories and partners worldwide, we are working to close the loop on plastics and embed sustainability in everyday lab operations.     🔄 Already participating? ♻️ 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹. 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝘆. 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀. With SARSTEDT’s box and refill system for pipette tips, you can make your laboratory work more sustainable. Here’s how it works: 🔄 After using the pipette tips, the empty box can be reused and easily refilled with a SingleRefill or StackPack. 📦 Collect the used box bases, lids (including labels), and trays in a carton – we will pick them up free of charge upon request. ♻️ We then return the material to our local recycling cycle, where the sorted polypropylene (PP) is specifically supplied to our recycling partners.
