Figures for the fiscal year 2024/25: Revenue down by 16 percent to 4.3 billion euros, order intake down by 7 percent to 4.2 billion euros. "The slowing global economy and geopolitical uncertainties have led to continued significant restraint in new investments among customers worldwide in the past fiscal year. Nevertheless, we believe that we have now reached the lowest point. We are seeing cautious signs of improvement. Press Evening at Blechexpo Messe: AI, Interlinking and Innovation in Sheet Metal Production Today's press event at Blechexpo brought together international journalists for an inspiring evening with TRUMPF. The evening started with a guided tour of our booth, followed by an engaging press talk with Stephan Mayer, CEO of TRUMPF Machine Tools, and Marcella Montelatici, Managing Director Sales & Services Machine Tool. The talk hosted by Ramona Hönl touched upon those key topics: ⚙️ The mobile bending cell Flex Cell in combination with TecZone Bend software 🤖 AI as a tool and AI in services 🔗 Machine interlinking for smarter, more efficient production As Stephan Mayer highlighted: “An important step toward further increasing efficiency in sheet metal production is the direct interlinking of cutting, punching, and bending - with the smallest possible batch sizes, right down to one-piece flow. This saves space costs, internal logistics, and unnecessary parts inventories. 🚀 Pushing the boundaries of deep space communication At TRUMPF, we’re proud to contribute to the European Space Agency’s (ESA) mission to explore the depths of our solar system. 🌌 Since 2021, our team has been developing a cutting-edge, multi-kW Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) for the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC) - vital component in the next generation of deep space antennas (DSAs). Replacing klystron technology, our SSPA will enable more reliable and efficient communication with spacecrafts millions of kilometers away.
