🌏 Laura’s Globetrotter Journey – China Edition Over the past 10 weeks, Laura had the incredible opportunity to live and work in two of China’s most vibrant cities: Beijing and Shanghai. ✨ Beijing Highlights Laura spent the first five weeks in Beijing, where her professional highlight was a Campus Talk at Union University – a university for students with hearing impairments. Together with her team, she introduced the company and shared insights into initiatives in Germany. A particularly moving moment was when the students taught them Chinese Sign Language – a truly unforgettable experience. On a personal level, Laura was deeply impressed by her visit to the Great Wall in Mutianyu. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it lived up to its reputation: thousands of steps, breathtaking nature, and an overwhelming sense of history. It was also quite the workout – with uneven steps and sections that required climbing! 🏙️ New Chapter in Shanghai Now in her second five-week stretch, Laura is based in Shanghai. The office here is located in a modern skyscraper and is significantly larger than the one in Beijing. She’s currently getting to know the various teams and their responsibilities – a great opportunity to broaden her understanding of the organization. 🍜 Foodie Adventures One thing Laura is thoroughly enjoying in both cities is the amazing food and drinks. Everything she’s tried so far has been delicious, and she’s getting better every day at using chopsticks.

On October 4th, 2025, TÜV SÜD Vietnam proudly participated in the Ho Chi Minh University of Technology (HCMUT) Career Fair 2025 — one of Vietnam’s leading institutions in technology and engineering education. It was a fantastic experience meeting bright, driven students majoring in Chemical Engineering Technology, Textile Technology, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Material Technology and more. We were inspired by the passion and talent of the future innovators we had the privilege of connecting with. 🌍 On the move with our Globetrotters: Blake in Munich ✈️ Blake’s Globetrotter journey in Munich is already nearing its final weeks – and what a time it has been! From his first days adjusting to life in Germany (with a few funny mishaps along the way) to diving deep into our Global People Growth & Experience Team, Blake has fully embraced the opportunity to learn, grow, and connect across cultures. 🌍 90% Globetrotter completed – and a journey full of impressions, insights, and team spirit! ✈️ Since July, our colleague Kami has been traveling in the UK as part of the TÜV SÜD Globetrotter Program – with stops in Fareham, England and East Kilbride, Scotland. Her goal: strengthening international collaboration, exchanging knowledge, and gaining new perspectives. A particularly impressive part of her journey was Kami’s contribution to developing a career path map for technical roles. Through intensive conversations with business managers, analyzing international competency standards, and visiting state-of-the-art labs, she was able to prepare a well-founded first draft – a real added value for our technical community. 💡 Alongside professional learnings, Kami is also bringing home many personal impressions – from British culture and culinary highlights to the famous British weather, which (almost) showed its sunny side. 🌦️ Thank you, Kami, for your dedication, curiosity, and your contribution to international collaboration at TÜV SÜD! 🙌 #TÜVSÜD #Globetrotter #GlobalMobility #PeopleTeam
