Ypsomed Holding AG (SIX: YPSN) announced that the sale of the Ypsomed Diabetes Care business to TecMed AG, initially announced on 22 April 2025, has now been completed. This is a strategic milestone for Ypsomed as it refocuses on its market-leading position in subcutaneous self-injection solutions for pharmaceutical and biotech companies.   Walder Wyss advised Ypsomed on the carve-out of the diabetes care business and the sale to TecMed AG. 📢 This week marks a promising milestone in our journey at XVIVO: the first patient has been enrolled in the Continued Access Protocol (CAP) study for our XVIVO Heart Assist Transport technology in the United States.   At its core, the CAP represents continuity, patient access, regulatory partnership and hope. The CAP ensures that transplant teams can continue to use the XVIVO Heart Assist Transport, without interruption, as we analyze one-year follow-up data from our clinical trial.   What this means in practice: 🔹 Up to 60 additional patients at 26 transplant centers will enroll. 🔹 This CAP study follows the successful PRESERVE Trial. The protocol closely mirrors that of the original IDE study, ensuring continuity in safety and efficacy data collection. 🔹 Due to CMS reimbursement approval, hospitals and patients will have access to this lifesaving technology. 🔹 Patients awaiting heart transplants can continue to benefit from XVIVO’s heart technology, even as we complete the final steps toward gaining Pre-Market Approval. 🔹 Transplant teams ensure continuity of care while the technology’s safety and efficacy continue to be formally reviewed.   For patients and families waiting for a second chance, this approval matters 💙 Nobody should die waiting for a new organ.
