3D lane and surface detection are key to safe urban driving! With this, Bosch is once again pushing the boundaries of state-of-the-art perception technology. This is especially critical for our multi-purpose cameras, which play a central role in driver assistance systems.  At the International Conference on Computer Vision in Hawaii, Maximilian Pittner from Bosch showcased how our latest approach addresses this complex challenge. And it’s not just research: It’s already embedded in our vehicles and will soon be part of our ADAS ECUs. 🚗 This is how our technology improves our products: 🔹 Long-range detection up to 200 m with reduced computational cost 🔹 Robust detection behavior by exploiting physical knowledge about road and lane structure 🔹 Temporal modeling reinforces consistency over time even for occlusions or poor visibility A great example of how our technology is making driving safer, smarter, and more comfortable for everyone!

At the Japan Mobility Show 2025 we are showcasing our comprehensive Bosch hardware and software solutions for software-driven mobility. Here, the Bosch team has publicly unveiled a by-wire brake actuator for the first time in Japan. Our by-wire brake system is expected to be featured in production vehicles for an Asian automaker in the beginning of 2026.  Additionally, we are announcing a new function providing automatic recognition of driving mode using facial recognition, and easy turn assist, from the comprehensive Vehicle Motion Management (VMM) software. And to further demonstrate our strengths in software-driven development, intelligent hardware that enables it, and manufacturing; we are scheduled to start production of our 10th generation ESP® at our Tochigi plant from early 2026 and sequentially proceed with our supply to Japanese automakers. Assisted and automated driving systems are gaining momentum – but so is public attention around their safety. Accidents make headlines. And safety has rightfully become a core concern for users, regulators, and OEMs alike. At Bosch, safety isn’t an add-on – it’s in our DNA. Our ADAS safety core such as AEB functions forms the foundation. Building on this, we add adaptive cruise control, lane centering, road hazard alerts, wrong-way driver warnings and interior sensing solutions to create a comprehensive shield protecting all road users.   We go beyond meeting standards like NCAP or other regulations – we help shape them. Thanks to our global reach and local expertise, we ensure that each solution matches regional requirements, while drawing from a worldwide safety knowledge base. And did you know? ADAS systems for passenger cars could help prevent nearly every third injury-related accident in Germany, provided full market adoption is achieved.👉 Delivering on that potential requires deep expertise across all vehicle domains – from sensors to software, from embedded systems to cloud integration. We have this expertise. And we use it to make driving safer. Every day. Find out more: https://lnkd.in/eWTebcy8

⚡Compact. Powerful. Efficient: 800-volt electric drive system for agriculture At AGRITECHNICA 2025, we’re presenting our new electric drive system: 800-volt technology that makes agricultural machinery smarter and more sustainable. Up to 188 kW continuous power in a compact form factor—ideal for fully electric implementations of small to mid-sized machines or as a hybrid boost for large equipment. Easy integration simplifies retrofitting of existing platforms, while maintenance and operating costs decrease. And when powered by biogas, combined heat and power plants, or PV systems, the application becomes especially economical. The very high efficiency ensures that every kWh counts. Curious? Meet us at booth Hall 16 / 16A05

Safety first. Always. At Bosch, we don’t add safety to AI later – we build it in from the start. With over a century of engineering excellence, we apply the same rigor to safe AI – especially in the context of generative AI, where errors and hallucinations can have real-world consequences. Our holistic safety concept balances safety, usability, and user experience: ✅Safety considerations are integrated from the earliest development stages ✅Critical data content is systematically analyzed ✅Redundancy is ensured across sensors and subsystems ✅Continuous improvement is built into every process Our safe AI architecture acts as an independent protective framework surrounding all AI systems. It continuously monitors system behavior, ensuring all decisions remain within well-defined safety boundaries regardless of which AI components are active. In addition, we actively shape industry standards, working closely with regulatory bodies and industry organizations to establish benchmarks for AI compliance. This demonstrates our commitment to responsible AI innovation. Find out more: https://lnkd.in/eWTebcy8
