Part-Time Registered Nurse

Dunwoody Village is currently seeking dedicated and caring RNs (Registered Nurse) to join its team for a part-time weekend schedule on the 7 AM to 3:30 PM and 3 PM to 11:30 PM shifts. 

Part-Time Nurses should be able to work some weekends, participate in a holiday rotation, and understand that they may be required to work on any of the various units. 

Overall, RNs would provide professional, supportive care to the residents of Dunwoody Village who reside in the Skilled, Personal Care, Memory Support, or Rehab areas. They will be responsible for the evaluation and assessment of the physical, mental, and psycho-social needs of the resident to determine if further professional intervention is appropriate.

Eligible candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Point Click Care experience.
• Must be a PA-licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of long-term care experience and excellent assessment skills.

Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant

Dunwoody Village is currently seeking dedicated and caring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to fill part-time weekday and weekend openings on a 7 AM to 3 PM shift.

Part-time CNAs should be able to work every other weekend, participate in our holiday rotation, and understand that they will be required to work on any of our various units. 

Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA job duties include providing exceptional resident care according to the Plan of Care, assisting residents with personal care and hygiene, and providing a safe environment for residents and colleagues.

Eligible candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Point Click Care experience strongly preferred.
• Must be a PA-licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of long-term care experience and excellent assessment skills.

Fitness Manager

Dunwoody Village is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to fill a Fitness Manager position.

The Fitness Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of its overall fitness programs that cater to the specific needs, abilities, and interests of residents within our community. 

The focus will be to encompass various aspects of fitness, including land-based exercises, aquatic exercises, strength training, and personal training. 

The overarching goal is to promote overall health and wellness.  The Fitness Manager will also serve as an integral member of our interdisciplinary team and will work closely with team members across other departments on various initiatives, projects, events, and activities.

The successful incumbent will possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years in a similar position – experience starting a program from the ground up is desired.
• The intrinsic ability to successfully lead and motivate all members of the Dunwoody Village community to focus on their health and well-being.

The successful candidate must have experience with age-specific competencies of the geriatric population in a long-term care setting. This person should also possess strong computer skills, including the ability to utilize Microsoft Office programs. The ability to positively communicate with people of diverse backgrounds and education levels is paramount.
