It was great to see the many initiatives and engagement connected to last week’s World Mental Health Day. It showcased that mental health indeed touches every one of us. When brain health is compromised, the impact ripples outward, affecting not just individuals but also families, friends, and entire communities.    I am proud to lead an organization of people championing better access to mental health care every day. Around the world, our teams marked World Mental Health Day with activities and events that sparked meaningful dialogue about well-being and support, both within and beyond the workplace. Just to highlight a few examples from our Asian colleagues: in Japan, our team co-hosted a seminar on youth mental health with patients, experts, and support groups. In China, colleagues partnered with the depression patient community Dogo for the “Green Ribbon Campaign”. In both countries, more than 30 landmarks were illuminated in green and silver, a powerful reminder that mental health conversations matter. And in South Korea, our team held a meditation session in the office and led a nationwide radio campaign to raise awareness about the importance of proper mental health treatment.    Advancing brain health requires collective action. Only together, we can break stigma, deepen understanding, and build a world where everyone affected by brain disorders feels seen, supported, and empowered.     #WorldMentalHealthDay #Neuroscience #Lundbeck

On last week's World Mental Health Day, our teams came together to show what it truly means to champion brain health. Because there is no mental health without brain health. From thought-provoking sessions and landmark illuminations in China and Japan 🏮✨ to a mental health tram in Milan, a wellness walk in Australia, and meaningful initiatives across Korea — from radio campaign to meditation session — through to messages of support and green-themed gatherings across Iberia, Poland, and Ireland 🌍, our colleagues united to spark conversations, inspire understanding, and celebrate progress. At Lundbeck, we remain deeply committed to supporting mental health, as our scientific focus evolves toward neuro-rare and neuro-specialty conditions. Building on our decades-long legacy in psychiatry, we continue to drive awareness, education, and efforts to reduce stigma globally. 💚 Look through the images to see how we’re making a difference together. #BrainHealth #WorldMentalHealthDay #Neuroscience #Lundbeck

  • Ethics isn’t just about knowing what’s right – it’s about having the courage to do it, every day. At Lundbeck, trust is the foundation of everything we do, with our colleagues, our partners, and the patients we serve. It’s built through integrity, transparency, and the courage to do what’s right. On 1 October, we marked an important milestone with the launch of our renewed Code of Ethics, a key step in strengthening our culture of integrity and supporting our journey as a Focused Innovator. As we recognize Global Ethics Day, we reaffirm our shared commitment to doing business the right way, in a world where science, technology, and society evolve faster than ever. From AI and sustainability to inclusion and partnerships, the ethical questions we face are changing, and our Code helps guide us through them. Our Code of Ethics: ✅ Supports employees in making ethical and compliant decisions ✅ Re-emphasize the responsibility of managers in fostering a strong ethical culture ✅ Embeds the behaviors that define Lundbeck – curiosity, adaptability, and accountability More than a document, our Code is a living guide and shared commitment that helps us make the right choices, speak up when something doesn’t feel right, and build trust in everything we do. Together, we’re shaping a future where ethical behavior drives meaningful innovation and lasting impact. • “Migraine was in a deep, dark closet. It was truly seen as just a headache. I felt totally alone.” For Margot, chronic migraine meant years of isolation and uncertainty. But by finding the right treatment and building her own toolbox of self-care strategies, she discovered a path toward better days — and a renewed sense of purpose. Margot’s story shows the power of lived experience in guiding us forward. At Lundbeck, we continue to listen, learn, and partner with patients to advance brain health together. 👉 Click the link in the comments below to read the article with Margot. #MigraineAwareness #BrainHealth #TimeToUnderstandMigraine

  • Lundbeck live from the 38th Annual European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP) Congress, in Amsterdam 📣    💬 Today, Lundbeck is proud to foster meaningful conversations around the management of two serious global mental health conditions—major depressive disorder (MDD) and schizophrenia.    Both MDD and schizophrenia are complex, life-altering conditions that deeply affect how individuals perceive and engage with society. At ECNP, we are hosting two Satellite Symposia, bringing together leading mental health specialists to share insights into addressing these challenges:    Our first symposium explores the importance of addressing anhedonia in MDD. Anhedonia—marked by a diminished ability to experience pleasure—can profoundly affect the daily lives of individuals with MDD.     Our second symposium, a joint initiative with Otsuka, explores personalized care for schizophrenia focusing on patient preferences to foster engagement and deliver compassionate, comprehensive support. Adding a unique perspective, a patient caregiver will also share their lived experiences with this mental health disorder.    🧠 If you’re attending ECNP, we invite you to join us, as together we can advance brain health and transform lives!

  • United against stigma Stigma remains one of the greatest barriers to mental health care — discouraging help-seeking, delaying treatment, and isolating people who deserve support. At Lundbeck, our purpose is to improve brain health for the benefit of patients, people, and society. Mental health is a cornerstone of brain health, and our history in psychiatry has shown us how stigma affects care, quality of life, and equity. On this #WorldMentalHealthDay, we invite you to learn more in our mental health position paper. 👉 Click the link in the comments below to read more. #WMHD #MentalHealthAwareness #BrainHealth

  • 🌺 Wrapping up an inspiring week at the MDS Congress in Honolulu 🌺 The Lundbeck team has been in action advancing brain health - sharing knowledge, presenting scientific updates, and supporting clinical trial recruitment. Our focus is clear: to help create a better future for people living with multiple system atrophy (MSA). MSA remains one of the most significant unmet needs in neurodegenerative disease. It is a rapidly progressing condition, with about half of patients surviving only six to nine years after symptom onset. Today’s treatment paradigm centers on symptom management only, leaving patients and families underserved. At Lundbeck, we are committed to changing this reality. The conversations, collaborations, and science shared at 2025 International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders® reinforce our determination to drive progress where it is most needed. #MDS2025 #BrainHealth #MSA #Neuroscience #Lundbeck

  • 💡 Driving Innovation and Collaboration at the Copenhagen Life Science Summit On October 8th and 9th, Lundbeck joined leaders from across Europe at the #CopenhagenLifeScienceSummit, hosted as part of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU 2025, to explore how partnerships and innovation can strengthen Europe’s life sciences and enhance global competitiveness. Representing Lundbeck, Thomas Klee, SVP Major Europe & Canada, spoke on the panel “Public–Private Partnerships: A Catalyst for European Competitiveness and Health?” where he highlighted the Lighthouse Life Science partnership as a powerful example of how collaboration can accelerate innovation and scientific progress. Public–private partnerships were a clear focus at this year’s Copenhagen Life Science Summit, signaling strong support for collaboration as a driver of health innovation. We are proud that the Lighthouse Life Science initiative, led by Lundbeck since 2023, is featured in Healthcare Denmark’s new publication, Public–Private Partnerships in Healthcare and Life Science, launched during the Summit. The publication showcases how Denmark’s model for public–private partnerships can inspire progress across Europe by linking health and industrial priorities to strengthen life sciences and innovation. It demonstrates how such collaboration can turn national ambitions into real-world solutions, improve patient care, and deliver sustainable value for society.  🤝 By fostering collaboration, engaging in policy dialogue, and advocating for brain health, we are helping to shape a future where science and innovation are recognized as global priorities 🧠 See highlights from the Copenhagen Life Science Summit below 🌟 #CopenhagenLifeScienceSummit #EU2025DK #CLSS
