Full Installation of Turbines at 650 MW Wind Farm in Ras Ghareb Completed Ahead of Schedule — With Zero Lost Time Incidents We’re proud to announce the early completion of all installation works for the 650 MW Red Sea Wind Farm — a milestone that builds on the recent achievement of starting commercial operations of the first 500 MW in April, six months ahead of schedule. The wind farm is the largest operational wind farm in Africa and will provide clean energy to over 1 million homes. This achievement also reflects Orascom Construction’s commitment to expanding its renewable energy and concessions portfolio, which includes 912.5 MW of wind power, and seawater and wastewater treatment projects across Egypt, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. Orascom Construction, in partnership with Hitachi Energy, is building on an EPC basis the region’s first large-scale intercontinental High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) power link between Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The project will enable a 3,000 MW bidirectional power exchange, enhancing energy efficiency and grid stability for both nations. Orascom Construction’s track record includes 30+ GW of energy capacity across renewable and conventional power generation projects completed and under construction. Strengthening Communities Through Education, One School at a Time Near Our Project Sites We believe in the power of education and community, and we’re proud to celebrate a milestone that reflects this commitment. We have successfully completed the School Transformation Program at Zidan Sanad Public School in Port Said, in collaboration with The Arab Contractors and Educate Me Foundation. To commemorate this achievement, a Sports Fun Day brought together students, parents, and teachers for activities such as painting, a puppet show, and team-building exercises.  Our program has fully upgraded the school’s infrastructure, trained the teachers and staff, and enhanced educational opportunities, reinforcing our commitment to community-driven progress. Zidan Sanad Primary School, located near one of OC’s major wastewater treatment projects, now serves as a modern, durable place for education for future generations. Silversands, Egypt’s North Coast – Completed 16 Million Man-Hours Without Lost Time Incidents ORA Developers Silversands, located in Sidi Heneish on Egypt’s North Coast, integrates residential living across 750 feddans. Phase 1 spans 139 feddans and includes 382 buildings comprising 702 units. Orascom Construction (OC) is the main contractor for Phase 1, managing all aspects of construction—from skeleton and concrete works to architectural finishes, electromechanical systems, and full turnkey delivery. All major structural components are completed, and the project is now in the handover stage. OC has a proven track record of delivering landmark commercial projects along Egypt’s North Coast, including Emaar’s Al Alamein Hotel, Vida Marina Hotel & Yacht Club, and the New Alamein High-Rise Towers. The company also plays a leading role in infrastructure development, such as the New Alamein Wastewater Treatment Plant, major upgrades to the International North Coast Road and Sahel Ras El Hekma route, and the construction of Borg El Arab International Airport and Marsa Allam Airport.
